Welcome to Yoopii — a fun, culture-first platform that celebrates creativity, connection, and commerce across Africa and the diaspora.
Our goal is to empower everyone to express themselves freely and safely, share authentic stories, showcase culture, and support economic growth through creative trade.

To maintain a positive, safe, and inspiring space for all, we’ve established these Community Guidelines. Every user, creator, and brand on Yoopii must follow them.

🌍 1. Respect and Positivity

Yoopii thrives on cultural diversity and mutual respect.
We do not allow:

Hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, culture, nationality, or disability.
Harassment, bullying, or doxxing (sharing someone’s private information).
Trolling, insults, or threats toward others.

👉 Treat everyone as part of one global community. Inspire, don’t insult.

💃 2. Celebrate Culture Responsibly

Yoopii is built to showcase African culture and creativity — from music and dance to fashion, food, and craftsmanship.
Please:

Share authentic content that respects cultural roots.
Avoid cultural misappropriation, misinformation, or mockery.
Credit the original creators or communities where appropriate.

🛍️ 3. Commerce and Selling Rules

Yoopii allows users to sell, promote, or showcase their products and services.
However, commercial activity must be legal, honest, and transparent.

Prohibited items or activities include:

Counterfeit goods, scams, or misleading offers
Sale of weapons, drugs, or restricted substances
Adult services or sexually explicit material
Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes

Creators and sellers must comply with local and international trade laws.

🎬 4. Safe and Creative Content

We want creativity, not harm.
Do not post:

Violent, graphic, or gory content
Pornographic or sexually explicit material
Dangerous challenges or pranks that could cause injury
Content that promotes suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders

We encourage fun, meaningful, and inspiring content that brings joy, awareness, or empowerment.

👶 5. Child and Minor Protection

We take child safety seriously.

Do not post, share, or comment sexually or abusively about minors.
Do not share images or videos of minors without consent from a parent or guardian.
Accounts found in violation will be permanently removed and may be reported to authorities.

🎭 6. Authenticity and Integrity

Keep it real.

Do not impersonate another person or organization.
Do not spread fake news, misinformation, or misleading content.
Avoid artificially inflating engagement (likes, views, followers, etc.) using bots or fake accounts.

Authenticity is what makes Yoopii truly unique.

🔒 7. Privacy and Data Respect

Protect your privacy and that of others.

Do not share personal data (addresses, IDs, phone numbers, etc.) without consent.
Do not hack, phish, or access others’ accounts.
Respect user data according to our Privacy Policy.

🚫 8. Consequences of Violations

Yoopii may take the following actions when these guidelines are violated:

Remove the violating content
Suspend or permanently ban accounts
Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities

Repeated or severe violations will lead to account termination.
