Yoopii Child Safety Standards Policy
Last Updated: November 6, 2025
At Yoopii, the safety, dignity, and privacy of young users are our highest priorities.
This Child Safety Standards Policy outlines how we protect minors, promote responsible use, and ensure compliance with global child protection and data privacy laws.
1. Our Commitment
Yoopii is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all users — especially children and teenagers.
We strictly prohibit any content, behavior, or transactions that exploit, endanger, or target minors inappropriately.
Yoopii fully complies with:
- The U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K) for minors
- Google Play Families Policy Requirements
- App Store’s Child Safety and Age-Appropriate Design Guidelines
2. Age Restrictions
- The minimum age to use Yoopii is 13 years old, or the legal minimum age in your country.
- Users under 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian before accessing commercial or live content.
- Users under 18 cannot post or view explicit, violent, or age-restricted content.
If we discover that an account belongs to a user under the permitted age, it will be suspended or deleted immediately.
3. Parental Guidance and Controls
Yoopii encourages parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online experience.
Parents can:
- Monitor app activity and device permissions.
- Review privacy and content settings with the child.
- Report or block inappropriate users or content directly within the app.
We provide easy-to-access parental control tools and reporting options to help families maintain a safe digital experience.
4. Protection of Minors’ Data
We collect only the minimum personal information necessary for account functionality, and we apply strict safeguards for any user under 18.
Specifically:
- We do not collect data for behavioral advertising targeting minors.
- We do not sell or share minor users’ personal data with third parties.
- We use age-appropriate consent screens when registering young users (if allowed in their region).
- Parents or guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of their child’s information at any time by emailing contact@yoopii.net.
5. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on Yoopii:
- Any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving minors.
- Bullying, harassment, or hate speech directed at minors.
- Uploading, sharing, or promoting child abuse materials or illegal imagery.
- Encouraging minors to participate in dangerous, harmful, or age-inappropriate activities.
- Direct messaging or grooming attempts between adults and minors for non-appropriate purposes.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination and, when required, reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.
6. Content Moderation and Reporting
Yoopii maintains a zero-tolerance policy for child exploitation or endangerment.
We use a combination of:
- Automated AI detection tools for harmful or explicit content,
- Human moderation teams for sensitive reviews, and
- Community reporting features for users to flag concerning behavior.
All reports are prioritized and investigated swiftly.
Where appropriate, we cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies.
7. Live Streams, Chats, and Interactive Features
- Live streams involving minors are monitored and restricted to ensure compliance with community standards.
- Private messaging between minors and adults is limited or blocked by default.
- Hosts and viewers who violate these safety rules may face suspension, permanent bans, or legal escalation.
8. Education and Awareness
Yoopii supports digital literacy and online safety education.
We regularly share in-app tips, community campaigns, and guidelines to help young users and families:
- Identify unsafe behavior,
- Report harmful content,
- Maintain healthy online habits, and
- Understand privacy and consent.
9. Enforcement and Cooperation
Yoopii collaborates with:
- National and international law enforcement agencies (e.g., INTERPOL, local cybercrime units),
- Child safety organizations, and
- Technology partners that specialize in online safety tools.
We report any verified cases of child exploitation or endangerment according to applicable law.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy to reflect platform improvements or changes in law.
When updates occur, we will notify users through email, app alerts, or website announcements.
Continued use of Yoopii after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
